I love the red trimGreat value, looks good seems sturdyI needed a pot that is 4.5 quarts that was not too shallow. This pot is only 4 qts. I cannot make the same amount of soup that I need to feed my family, but I kept it because I could not find what I wanted in 4.5 qt. pot. This is a nice sturdy post, appears to be well made and a good price. It has a thick stainless steel bottom so it distributes the heat evenly and won't wear out quickly. The steel on the handles could get hot like other reviewers mentioned but that's a minor issue. Will use for cooking pasta, soups and steaming veggies.Tbh, I was expecting a bigger pot but obviously that was my error not knowing what a 6qt pot is. However, though it seemed a bit on the small side, it held a good amount of food! I made chili in it and nothing stuck to the pot. We are a house of 3 adults and 2 toddlers. The pot held enough food for all of us. :) I would recommend. We are a 2-person household, but I like to make soup enough for a couple of lunches. I have several 3=quart pots that just weren't big enough to stir comfortably and a large soup pot that was WAY too big. I am so glad I bought this. It is the perfect size and so much easier to handle. Love the glass lid and the double silicone handles...just be careful when you grab them because there is a small piece of metal on them that does conduct heat. I usually saute veggies/meat first before I add everything else and have found that clean up is breeze. The worst feature is the lid handle is so poorly designed; it will burn you unless you use a pot holder. I'm actually using another lid with a handle that doesn't get hot. It still serves my purpose in that it is a 4qt. pot and can hold all my dumplings when making chicken and dumplings.nice size and fun to cook with
