We have a smaller pasta one that we use almost everyday, when we needed something bigger we did a search for this same brand. It’s a great sturdy easy to clean pot that gets the job done.Lid doesn't fit as tight as I would like, but I love this potUpdate, as of 2019 my pot now has a bubble on the bottom like the metal separated slightly and now does not sit flat on the stovetopThis is perfect in every way. Clean up easy, and light weight. Love the strain top.Shame on me for assuming, but i assumed that a pot with a straining lid, would have the lid lock...it doesn't ...which kind of defeats the point....useless to me....returnedI have a set of these pots and pans which I have had for at least 12 years. These are the best pans I have ever had. They compare well to the much more expensive sets. There is a wide selection and so I continue adding pieces.I bought this as a gift for my husband. The second time he used it the spot welds on the handle broke dropping a very hot lid.It should have been everything that he wanted. But, instead it is a safety hazard.I love these pans. Ordered more.Wish amazon had some good pics for these. These are nice, thick bottom for even heating, wide handles, good quality, riveted handles.
