This plant stand required some minor assembly. There are screws requiring an allen key wrench sized 7/64", but the kit had a 1/8" allen key, which was too large to use.I was very satisfied with delivery and appearance. Product could use some assembly directions regarding how to use the chord provided for the self-watering portion. In researching that for self watering containers, I saw one recommendation for two per pot. These came with one per pot. Without instructions I assumed it was not to be cut and considered that this may be pot size dependent. I liked the design of the integrated inner pot but do have some reservation about the life of plastic handle with the weight of the soil. Only time will tell as anything plastic is subject to cracking with time. I don't expect this will be used often now that the plant is potted. I think it served it's purpose but will use with care and plan to water from top. I have used my pots for a lemon and lime tree and think they will be happy for several years.This planter has many great features that make it a good choice. The entire thing is made of very thick, sturdy plastic and feels very durable. The outer pot is a glossy white with a lower area that works as both drainage and a water reservoir when the appropriate holes are drilled. There is a window to view water level in the reservoir.The removable inner pot is just as sturdy, with drain holes, handles and a cotton (?) wick that can be positioned to dip into the lower reservoir. The handles provide a more than adequate grip for what will be a fairly heavy pot. In addition, they snap-fit into the inner pot and can be easily removed if necessary.Some issues: Most of the drain holes on both of the pots I purchased were filled with plastic flash debris and needed to be cut/drilled clean. This is by no means a deal-breaker, but it did take time I'd have rather spent doing something else. I also would have liked an option for a white planter with a matching white inner pot. For the price, some colors should be available. Also minus one star for the price. As good as it is, $60 feels too high for this planter; $40-$45 seems more reasonable.In all, it's a nice-looking yet understated planter with some convenient features. Recommended.I like that it’s a very plain styling so the focus is on my beautiful plant. Easy to lift out. You can see the water level through the little window. I’ll probably pick up another one.no directions included fir setting up . I need that !I feel this is crazy overpriced for what you get. Two plastic buckets, nothing special. Two things of thin twine, which I had to google what to do with as I am new to plants and this has NO INSTRUCTIONS as to how this is suppose work, or how to put it together, do I fill the bottom first, does it drain down? I have no idea. Ya it has a window, but when you put the bucket with dirt on top, it makes it so dark you cant see the water that's in there anyway so its not even doing anything? I don't know, I feel I got ripped off.No instructions were included with planter. After I used planter, I discovered I didn't get the cotton absorbing ropes when I relooked at listing. Water level indicator is worthless. Total waste of money!I think that my Fiddle Leaf Fig is going to make it. This has been a life saver for this plant!
