Just returned 2 of these past week. Does Not include a Water Gauge device to indicate how much water you have watered. However, there is an inelegant 'hole' cut into the side of the planter few inches from the bottom. Was a brand plaque supposed to have been in place at the crudely cut hole? Maybe it was a 'stop-gap' means to prevent drowning your plant? Now, there is a 'release valve' (opening at bottom) for outdoor use. However the inner protrusion does 'Not' go some way up so as to maintain any sufficient amount of water in the planter if you were to leave it open for outdoor use. The help desk (more like non-help) insist that there is an ingress access for you to water the plant from up top when there is No such device or facility. The 'foundation tray' that holds the soil to allow for sufficient space for water reservoir occupies a level that covers the 'cut hole' partially.... which block your view into the hole if you are attempting see how much water is in the reservoir, or block your water spout from your watering can if you think that is how you would do 'bottom watering'. It is just odd and awkward.
