I got this for my home office, but it did have some bent leaves from shipment. Other than that, it is great!Spider plant arrived well wrapped but was sickly looking and the roots were incredibly crowded in a clay pot that was much to small for size. Its been a month now and the plant still looks sickly and hardly recovered. The shipping also took several days in high temp which may have contributed to its condition. Local big box hardware store has same plants for less and healthier looking. Based on the condition of this poor little plant, i cannot recommend. It arrived with soaking, tightly packed soil, and with a lot of leaf damage. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, and I thought some time out of the package would help it perk up.It actually got worse overnight and became completely droopy, so I repotted it into some dry soil. I noticed that some of the roots were completely mushy and rotted (they felt like fat, squishy earthworms).I don’t understand why it was watered like this before shipping (all of the plants had soaked soil, but the spider plant was the only one in bad shape), and would think that people who sell plants would know that it could (and did, in this case) cause root rot.Hopefully it gets better with some good sunlight and dry soil, but I’m really disappointed, especially considering how expensive it was.UPDATE (09/12/20)Unfortunately, the original plant ended up dying. After contacting the seller, I received a replacement. It was in better condition than the one I received before, but it was still shipped in wet soil. I replanted it immediately and noted that the roots seemed much healthier, so this plant has a much better chance at recovery. There was a still quite a bit of (understandable!) leaf damage, and it wasn't nearly as full as the one in the product image. While I was waiting for the replacement to arrive, I found a curly variety at my grocery store. It was much bigger and fuller, for 1/3 of the price. I have them pictured side by side (white pot is the grocery store plant).I was glad that it at least made it here in better condition, and should bounce back with some love and care, but it was disappointing for the price I had paid. After contacting the seller with an update, they gave me a partial refund.I'm bumping this up to 3 stars, because the customer service was fantastic, and the replacement should survive and grow nice and big with some care. My only issue is with the condition of the plant compared to the price.I should note that the other 4 plants I ordered from them (snake plant, zz plant, heart leaf philodendron, silver nerve plant) arrived in great condition, and are doing well in their new pots!I have no complaints about the plants or seller! They did a great job wrapping and packaging but they should really at least write " Live Plant" on the side of the box or label. UPS was great until they got to my area of course, it was first lost in their truck then left UPSIDE DOWN on my doorstep. So again nothing of the sellers fault these babies are beautiful and I hope they acclimate well after their long journey. I've bought from them before and haven't let me down!Very expensive for very small plants arrive in very good shapeThe plant itself is perfect and exactly as advertised, but unfortunately the pot that the plant shipped in broke in transit so I was unable to display the plant and am now in the process of buying a new pot for the plantI love my plant just received it and I'm a new mommie to my plant children. Will be ordering from the company again. My plant came early and packing in good condition. The picture has a dry erase maker so you have some size reference, and was taken about 20 minutes after I removed the plant from the package. It is still in the original pot it comes in, which is 4” and made of clay. I am extremely pleased! What blew me away the most was the shipping/packaging. I would suggest not paying extra for the 2 day shipping. I ordered it on July 3rd and it arrived July 6th. As the seller is located in California and I am in Virginia, I’m nearly as far away as you can get! When it arrived, the box was very securely sealed. Inside it was full of packing peanuts. The product was wrapped in a thick layer of bubble wrap, but was not too tight around the plant itself so it didn’t get squished. Finally, the pot and soil are sealed in plastic wrap to keep the soil moist and contained. And yes, the soil was still damp! It also comes with a small card with brief care instructions. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised that I could successfully buy a houseplant off of Amazon, and I would recommend this seller!
