I order a lot of things online and receive deliveries almost every day.I know the delivery folks work long and hard days so we leave a thank you note and treats out on our front porch for them.I have a large concrete planter on the porch, so I wanted a bowl that would blend in. I also wanted something deep enough so the treats weren't visible to every passer by.We bring the bowl of treats in at the end of the day though (lesson learned when raccoons had themselves a party one night), so I also wanted something light weight enough to manage easily.This is perfect - - deep, lightweight and very visually close (especially from afar) to real concrete.The size and shape of this is wide and deep so it pretty well hides the snack sized bags of Fritos, Oreos and crackers that I have in them.Placed behind and next to the large planter on our porch, it just looks like there's an empty pot sitting behind a larger one.Delivery guys tuck packages behind that large planter anyway, and when they do, they see this bowl, the thank you note and their treats.I'd also happily use this as a planter as well because it really does have the look (not the feel) of concrete. Unless you touch it or are very close-up, it does a very good job of mimicking the look of a concrete planter.
