I grow African Violets and Hoyas, mostly from cuttings so most of my Hoyas started small. I grow my Hoyas in pon, DIY pon or leca. I grow my African violets in at least 60% perlite mixed with AV soil. I have swapped out all of my other pots to this one because it’s so perfect. It has a semi-opaque so it doesn’t get algae in it as easily as clear pots, yet it has a window so you can see the water level. The net pot has cute little heart holes around the edge so you get some air circulation. (Note: if you’re fighting gnats, this would be a disadvantage but it’s great for getting more air to the roots of plants). Even the wick that comes with the pot is great. The ends are finished and it’s long enough to pull up into the soil, which I like to do, and I’ve never had one of these wicks fail. They’re easy to clean. I love these pots.
